By Youth For Youth (BYFY) is a group of Dane County high school youth who are impactful leaders in their community. BYFY provides opportunities for youth to make local investment decisions to support youth-led and youth-developed programs and projects in Dane County.

Dane County 4-H Leaders meet three times a year in person (August, November, and April) at the Dane County Extension/4-H Office. At least one adult from each club should attend. The meetings are open to all members.

Since 2010, Dane County Master Gardeners have held a plant sale in May, usually the Sunday after Mother’s Day. The sale includes hundreds of perennials for both shade and sun, native plants, houseplants—as well as vegetables, herbs, and annual flowers now grown in our new greenhouse.

Plants are priced to sell. Cash, checks, and credit/debit cards are accepted.

This is a purrrrrfect opportunity to learn about Cats! Our youth leaders have organized some fun, interactive activities for you. No need to bring your furry friend. This meeting is open to all 4-H members interested in learning more about cats.

Join us for a fun evening of table games, pizza and dancing. Bring what you like to drink. Water will be available. Open to all 4-H members, fair exhibitors and family members. Must have Dane County Fair entry pass/wristband to attend the kickoff party.
