Strategic Planning
The majority of Dane County’s rivers, lakes, and natural areas are supported by small conservation organizations working to preserve their slice of natural landscape, protect wildlife habitats, and promote sustainable practices. All of these organizations have unique missions and challenges that need support to be at their best, and amplify their efforts.
While some of these groups are well-established with good internal systems in place, many others suffer from burnout among volunteers, aging leadership teams, and a lack of direction. Dane County Extension offers guided facilitation and strategic planning services that can be hugely beneficial to help refresh and reorganize groups into the future at low or no cost to the organization.
If your conservation organization is interested in learning more about Extension’s guided facilitation and strategic planning services, contact Natural Resources Educator Wade Moder to schedule a meeting and talk through your group’s needs.
