All who are planning on exhibiting poultry at a fair this season must have their birds tested for pullorum. There will be two sites this year where you can have your birds tested. You will need to have leg bands on dry birds and your paperwork filled out when you arrive – see below.

Site 1: Oregon Farm Center on June 21 from 10am-Noon. No pre-register for Oregon.

Site 2: Deforest High School on June 23rd from 5-7 pm. near the greenhouse.  Here’s the Deforest Site link to sign up, as it works to stagger people.

Below are tips to complete before arriving.

Before You Arrive:

  1. Complete the “Flock Information” Section (Page 2 of the form):
Print and fill out  the top half of the form before arriving. Bring this form with you.
  • Premise ID Required:
If you don’t have a Premise ID number yet, please register for one at this link.
This number is required on your form.
  • Leg Bands:
All birds must have a leg band ID before arrival.
(Example: ZBands work well and fit a variety of leg sizes. However, other bands with numbers to identify the bird  will work. Leg bands will be available at the testing sites for $1 each.)
  • Please bring clean, dry birds to the testing to help make it easier to handle them.
