Important For Beef Members:
- This weigh in is for all Dept 2 (beef) steers and heifers that intend to sell at the Dane County Fair Meat Animal Sale.
- Parking for this event is free – let the parking attendants know that you are with the Beef Weigh In.
- Enter on the North side of Pavilion 2 – follow signs and trailers.
- All animals must be haltered. Families are required to lead their own animal through scale and tagging chute. Paperwork will need to be completed prior to animal going on scale. Paperwork will be available on site, the day of the weigh in.
- Steer weights taken on this date will be used for the Rate of Gain Award.
- Each tag is $5 and must be paid at the Weigh/Tag In on 1/4/2025.
