Career Pathways Internship Program
The Dane County Career Pathways Internship Program aims to provide youth with a glimpse of our Career and College Readiness programs, which help youth transition from adolescence to adulthood with the necessary abilities, skills, and mindsets to navigate life’s opportunities and challenges.

- Parks Education Program Assistant (2)

- Six weeks Summer Internship

Why This Program Matters:
The Career Pathways program empowers high school youth by introducing them to the many career opportunities within Dane County Government. Through a collaboration between Dane County UW Extension and county departments, the program connects young people with hands on experiences in local government and public service, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to succeed.
