The Dane County Large Meat Animal Sale Committee will award up to a maximum of four scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2026, or students age 21 or under. This scholarship is available to encourage youth to continue their education in agricultural related fields.

The following criteria will be used to determine eligibility for the scholarship:

• Years in 4-H/FFA
• 4-H/FFA projects and activities
• Must have participated in a Large Dane County Meat Animal Sale
• Recognitions and awards received
• Community service
• 4-H/FFA leadership and offices held
• Career goals
• Three letters of recommendation
• Presentation of application
• Answer to essay question
