A last minute invite to learn about sewing thanks to the Cross Plains Wondermakers 4-H Club – please RSVP to Jennifer Torkelson at latintchr@wi.rr.com  or 262-443-7522 if you are interested in attending or have any questions.

Youth will learn how to read a pattern envelope and select a pattern and fabric for a project suitable to your sewing skills.  We will also practice sewing straight lines, curves, and corners on paper.  Youth can choose a simple project to work on if they would like to try creating something. 

Grades: 3+ – an adult must accompany youth

Supplies to bring: Portable sewing machine, old sewing machine needle (for practicing on paper), new sewing machine needle (for sewing on fabric), tape measure, seam ripper, scissors, waterbottle and snacks if you need them.
