Are you interested in teaching your dog some new tricks? or working on dog showmanship? Or just looking to have fun learning about dogs? Join us for the Dane County 4-H Dog Project Kickoff Day (without your canine companion)!

*This event is mandatory for all youth interested in participating in the 4-H Dog Project.

You will get all of the information you will need to complete the project for this year. Dane County 4-H offers obedience, rally, showmanship, agility, and quiz bowl.

No dog, no problem! You don’t need to own a dog to participate in the 4-H Dog Project Kickoff or quiz bowl!

This will be a interactive meeting where you will get all the information you will need for this year in order to participate in the dog project

This will be an fun and interactive meeting where you will learn about:

1. the 4-H Dog Project programs and classes offered this year
2. what supplies you need for the dog project
3. what to bring to dog check-in days
4. the 4-H Dog Project committee members and volunteers
5. the expectations of youth and their animals
6. dog body language, behavior and training
7. Dog Quiz Bowl
