Please join us for an exciting meeting featuring a speaker from the Henry Vilas Zoo! We’ll learn some wild and amazing large cat biofacts and how wild cats compare to our domestic cat friends. All cat enthusiasts welcome.
This is a purrrrrfect opportunity to learn about Cats!
This is an in-person meeting for youth in grades K-13. An adult is required to attend with youth in grades K-5.
No fee or need to pre-register for this meeting.
Future 4-H Cat Project Meetings:
Sundays, April 19, May 2 and June 7 at 2:00pm at the 4-H Office
All youth planning to show Cats at the Dane County Fair (DCF) must meet these species specific educational requirements:
- Attend at least one approved education event – list is available on the Dane County Fair Animal Education webpages.
- Complete all training and submit education card and YQCA certificate into the online portal by June 1.
- If showing in more than one species, youth must complete and submit the requirements for each species.
- To upload the education card, please save the document as a JPG, TIFF, or PDF. Youth can take a picture of the education card to upload.
- The Dane County Fair education card will be uploaded into FairEntry and the portal will be available in April.
