Interested in joining the Dane County 4-H dog project for the 2023-24 year? Looking to have fun learning about dogs?

Attend our Dog Project Kickoff Day (without your canine companion) to get all of the information you will need to complete the project for this year. Dane County 4-H offers obedience, a pet class, showmanship, agility and new this year…quiz bowl!

No dog, no problem! You don’t need to own a dog to participate in the 4-H Dog Project Kickoff or quiz bowl!

All youth interested in participating in the 4-H Dog Project should plan to attend this event.

This will be an fun and interactive meeting where you will learn about:

• the 4-H Dog Project programs and classes offered this year
• what supplies you need for the dog project
• what to bring to dog check-in days
• the 4-H Dog Project committee members and volunteers
• the expectations of youth and their animals
• dog body language, behavior and training
• Dog Quiz Bowl – new this year!

No need to pre-register. All youth should be accompanied by an adult for this meeting.
