Join Us in Welcoming Our New Community Development Educator

Noah Reif (she/her/hers) is proud to join Dane County Extension as the Community Development Educator. In this role, she collaborates with local organizations, community members, and local governments to strengthen organizational capacity and develop leadership that responds to evolving community needs. A skilled facilitator and trainer, Noah centers her work on building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable organizations.

She holds a Liberal Arts degree in Music from St. Norbert College and brings nearly a decade of experience working within and alongside nonprofit organizations. Her background includes community organizing, fundraising, and advocacy management, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how mission-driven organizations operate and grow. Most recently, Noah served for three years as the Fond du Lac County Extension Community Development Educator, supporting communities through leadership development, systems-building, and collaborative problem-solving.

Outside of her professional work, Noah lives in Waupun with her cat, Radish. She enjoys building community with LGBTQIA+ people from across Wisconsin and is an enthusiastic Wisconsin sports fan, especially when it comes to cheering on the Packers.

We are thrilled to welcome Noah to the Dane County Extension team and look forward to the leadership, insight, and care she will bring to her work across Dane County. Her experience and commitment to community-centered development will be a meaningful asset as we continue supporting strong, connected, and thriving communities.
