Dane County Lyman Anderson Agriculture & Conservation Center Conference Room Use Policy
New policy beginning January 2026.
Rooms are available for meetings and events associated with municipal, county, and state government, including UW Extension-related groups. Rooms are for government-related business only. Rooms are not available for rent to the public or outside groups.
Purpose
The conference rooms at Lyman F. Anderson Agriculture & Conservation Center support Dane County’s mission by facilitating educational, governmental, and civic activities that serve the public interest. These rooms are not available for rent to the public or for private use.
Expectations of Use
- Users must set up, clean, and restore the room to its original condition.
- Users must comply with all building rules, including occupancy limits and safety regulations.
Prohibited Uses
- All non-governmental uses, including but not limited to private parties, celebrations, or social gatherings.
- Events that solicit donations or promote commercial interests.
- Activities that disrupt normal operations.
Reservation Procedures
- Users without access to Dane County calendars must submit a reservation request through the Fen Oak Room Reservation Request Form.
- Dane County Extension staff review each request to ensure compliance with this policy.
- Dane County Extension staff schedule requests on a first-come, first-served basis.
