Meet Leo Muñoz, our newest addition to the Dane County FoodWIse team, as a Bilingual Spanish Nutrition Educator. Leo’s focus within the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) includes working with youth, teens, and parents/families.

Leo holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from New College of Florida. Beyond his nutrition expertise, Leo is a talented artist, crafting captivating comics and watercolor paintings inspired by his passions for paleontology and his home state of Florida.

In his downtime, Leo is an avid birder, a dedicated community gardener, and an adventurous culinary enthusiast, always on the hunt for exciting new recipes to try. We’re thrilled to have him on board
