The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension welcomes Maya Walther as the new Natural Resources Education Intern for Extension Dane County.
Maya provides assistance in creating a curriculum for the composting program.
She is responsible for creating a canvas course that will provide in-depth knowledge in compost and waste management. Her experience includes environmental law and resource management. She comes with a host of knowledge in sustainability and energy conservation.
Maya is a full-time student at UW- Madison pursuing a degree in environmental studies and political science. She participates in Campus Leaders for Energy Action Now (CLEAN) which encourages the university to transition to clean energy sources.
